My Favorite Bakery: L'Artisan French Bakery in Everett, WA : Whenever Larry and I return from France, we know that relief from french pastry withdrawal is right around the corner - L'Artisan French Bakery to the rescue! Having sampled many a fine pastry in France, I can tell you that no one does it better than Pastry Chef Jackie and his delightful wife, Roseanna! We are so lucky! Why go to Paris when the best part of France is right around the corner?!! 07/08/06 - Jackie graciously allowed me to come and photograph the night life at his bakery - basically he and his assistant Kevin arrive at 1:30 am and bake all through the night!
